“Did you enjoy yourself?”
Elkay was somehow back in his own bed but also completely naked. His armour was neatly folded up on his desk and he was partially covered in a very delicate silk sheet. However, he wasn’t lying down. He was partially sat up, being held and gently cuddled. But not by the normal suspect.
“H-h-hello, Ret, what are you doing?” Elkay only just managed to stutter. He was sleepy and filled with conflicting emotions.
“Aftercare.”
“What… what do you mean by that? Why are we back in here? And where is Kuta?”
Ret delicately massaged Elkay’s shoulders, then ran his hands down Elkay’s arms and rubbed Elkay’s wrists, checking that they weren’t bruised or anything.
“You admittedly knocked Kuta out a little bit.”
“I did?”
Ret nodded. He was being very gentle and was speaking softly. “Kuta is normally better at, uh, I think they call it edging. While you were tied up and we were both doing oral on you, Kuta accidentally made you come early and in their mouth. Kuta swallowed, they always do, then said “oh no, I forgot”, then got off you and immediately fell asleep. You fell asleep too, but that is apparently a common thing after orgasming.”
Elkay frowned. “Sorry. I… I forgot to tell you both that, uh… my… my fluids are… like a sedative.”
“I guessed as much!” Ret shrugged. “Kuta told me about the “broken condom incident” they had when they were dating Arkay, and Kuta fell asleep really quickly.”
“I… sometimes let Teekay blow me if he cannot sleep…” Elkay admitted. “But it bothers me. I am a complete freak.”
“So is Kuta. So am I. I think most of us are freaks out here. It is nothing to be upset about. And I am certain Teekay loves you no matter how freakish you think you are. I certainly love Kuta, even if sometimes I catch myself on their fangs when we make out and it makes my face go numb and stuck.”
Ret went back to work, now massaging Elkay’s shoulders again. His tail wasn’t that long or flexible but he had tried to wrap it around Elkay’s tail. For a bit, Elkay decided to let Ret pamper him, but the whole pampering thing didn’t make much sense, and Elkay eventually asked about it.
“Why are you doing all of this?” Elkay asked.
“All of what?”
“The massaging and stuff.”
Ret shrugged some more. “I like the aftercare bit. Kuta and I, whenever we do the more extreme stuff, whichever of us was the dominant one, when we are done, we spend time looking after the submissive one, to make them feel more relaxed, make them feel better. And also remind them that, in reality, we are equals…” Ret trailed off a bit. “In all honesty, while yes, it is nice to have an orgasm and stuff, I think I actually prefer the aftercare and all that more. I enjoy making other people feel calm and relaxed and safe and happy. And I think you can relate to that.”
Elkay nodded. “I understand that completely. I would make some more nuanced comments but… uh… I am a little overwhelmed right now.”
“Understandable. That is also what aftercare is for. To, uh, make you… whelmed again? I do not know the right words. I am admittedly not very smart.”
Elkay glanced back at Ret. “You seem perfectly intelligent to me.”
“I am a complete idiot compared to my siblings.”
“Yes but you told me your little sibling Relkir is stupidly intelligent. It is like saying Litvir is short because Retvik is 3m tall. You can still be intelligent while not being as intelligent as someone else.”
“I guess…” Ret fell silent, then began to rub Elkay’s neck and the back of his head, around where his plating met his skin. To Elkay, this felt absolutely amazing, and he couldn’t help but let out some very content moans. Eventually though, Ret’s hands seemed to get tired, so he stopped and just wrapped his arms around Elkay in a loose hug.
“So… where is Kuta right now?”
“Before they fell completely asleep, Kuta asked me to take them back to their room, so I did. They are tucked into bed and sleeping peacefully now, and when they wake up, Kuta said they will tidy up Litvir’s room. Kuta also told me to give you extra aftercare because we did admittedly take you very much out of your comfort zone and said you would feel better waking up in your own room.”
Elkay shrugged. “A fair assessment. Are you alright?”
“Yes, why do you ask?”
“You did not get aftercare.”
“Kuta will give me some aftercare later on. We always make sure that we look after each other. I often wonder how I managed to stumble across someone who meshes so perfectly with me, so suddenly. Although I guess you somewhat know what that is like, as you and Teekay are married.”
“I do, yes. It was more gradual for Teekay and myself, but while, yes, we look very different, mentally, we mesh perfectly.”
“I am glad. You seem like someone who was very lonely for most of their life.”
Elkay nodded. “I was very lonely. And you were too.”
“You, me and Kuta. And Teekay too, I guess…” Retvik grunted. “I will be honest though, Kuta suggested inviting Teekay if we do this again, but I am not comfortable with that.”
“Teekay would understand. It is fine!”
Elkay smiled, then yawned. Ret saw that Elkay was getting sleepy again, and patted him on the shoulder.
“Do you feel good right now?” Ret asked.
“I do, yes.”
“Alright. I shall leave you to sleep now. I want to go and check on Kuta then have a shower.”
“Very well. Thank you, Ret. You have made me feel a lot better about myself.”
“Hah, it is fine, Elkay!” Ret grinned as he got up, then tucked Elkay into bed. “After all, we both increased the number of Rethans we have slept with to three. Anyway, sleep well, see you later.”
“You too, Ret. Thank you again.”
“No worries. And thank you too. This was fun.”
