Bikini

“Wow.”

Phovos looked up as she realized that she wasn’t alone.

“Oh, hi Retvik.”

“Hello…” Retvik was clearly staring at Phovos, his mouth slightly open. “You look… amazing.”

“I do?”

“Yes.”

Phovos smiled a little, then put her stuff, mainly her handbag and keys, down on the little table by the door. But there was also a large, almost overflowing shopping bag, and she left it on the floor by the table. “Kinisis took me shopping. I kinda didn’t bother getting changed afterwards.”

“You genuinely look amazing, dear…” Retvik couldn’t take his eyes off Phovos. He’d never really seen this side of Phovos before. Most of the time, Phovos was covered up or at least wearing something that covered more of her body. Right now though, she was in an adorable bikini set, and most likely completely unaware how beautiful she looked to Retvik.

“It’s nothing special…” Phovos muttered, picking up the bag on the floor again. She walked down to the end of the room where her bedroom was. She threw the bag into her room somewhere, then came out and joined Retvik in the kitchen/living room where he was standing. On the side were several bags and packages of food.

“Nothing special? Phovos, you look perfect.”

“Perfect? Hah…” Phovos laughed uneasily. She suddenly felt almost… uncomfortable. Naked, even.

“I am telling you the truth. That look really suits you.”

“Yeah well…” Phovos sighed a little. “I don’t know, it doesn’t feel like me. Plus, you’ve seen me naked before, how is this any different?”

Retvik shook his head, trying to work out if he had said something wrong. “I just think that you look very pretty currently. Wearing some clothes that fit you perfectly, clothes that accentuate your body. Not a lot of clothing, obviously, but that bikini perfectly fits your breasts and the high waist bottoms are also very nice.”

“You think?”

“Of course.”

“This isn’t some sort of trick?”

“Why would I want to trick you?” Retvik was getting confused and a bit annoyed. “Why can you not accept that I find you very attractive currently?”

Phovos sighed, then apologised. “I’m sorry. I’m just not… feeling great. While yes the clothes fit and all that, it makes me too Life-Goddess-y. And that makes me feel uneasy. I don’t want to be a Life Goddess.”

“That is understandable, dear. But I must insist that you do look utterly amazing. It makes me sad that you do not feel the same way.”

Phovos smiled a little. “Thank you, Ret. I’m sorry for being grumpy.”

“No worries, dear.”

Both Retvik and Phovos fell silent. But the silence was brief, as it was interrupted by gurgling.

“I am clearly hungry!” Retvik laughed. “Good thing I brought a lot of food.”

“Did you get sausages and mash?” Phovos asked, rubbing her stomach. “Shopping made me hungry.”

Retvik grabbed a large container and opened it up. “Of course I got you your favourite dish! I also brought that sweet sauce you like.”

“The black one I can never remember the name of?”

Retvik nodded. “Yes, that one.”

“Alright!” Phovos beamed as she headed to her bedroom. “Let me just change into something more comfortable. Don’t want to drop food on my new bikini!”
