Snuggling Down

Arkay blinked his eyes, trying to remember where he was briefly. He definitely wasn’t in his normal bed, because his normal bed was kinda large and flat. Not a massive pile of cushions and blankets and stuff. Normally, Arkay didn’t have a blanket on him either. Having someone sleep on top of Arkay wasn’t that unusual, but normally that only happened when he, Litvir and Retvik would share a bed, and normally it was more Arkay being squished between the pair of them.

With a hint of struggle, Arkay pulled his arm free and rubbed his eyes. There was definitely someone on top of him. And now Arkay could see clearly, he worked out who it was. He nudged them slightly.

“Uh, Kayel, you awake?” Arkay eventually muttered.

Kayel didn’t move. He was completely out of it. Arkay nudged Kayel again.

“Kayel, are you alright?”

The second nudge worked. Kayel lifted his head off Arkay’s chest, then turned to look at Arkay directly. As he did so, he smiled. A very, very sleepy smile.

“Hey.”

“Hiya.”

“Did you have fun?” Kayel asked. He didn’t get up or roll over though, and remained firmly on top of Arkay.

Arkay wasn’t quite sure how to answer though. The previous two days had been… a bit of a blur. In fact, Arkay was surprised that Retvik and Litvir had just left all six Skyavok folks just lie in this room, drinking, sleeping and fucking around.

Speaking of fucking around, Arkay could feel something between his legs. Things were a tad… warm. It seemed Kayel noticed this as well, and he finally got up off Arkay. It turned out, both of them were still wearing condoms, but they were both also a little wet between the legs.

“I assume I did. Especially since you’re on top of me still.”

Kayel smirked, then rolled off of Arkay, to his side. “Oh, definitely. We fit weirdly well together. Like… like… I forget that you’re fucking huge down there. Both in length and girth.”

“You sell yourself short, Kayel. You’re pretty well-endowed too.”

“I guess.”

Kayel licked his lips, suggesting he was thirsty. Arkay opened up a tiny hammer space and grabbed two bottles of water from it.

“Hah, thanks!” Kayel sat up properly now, so he could drink his drink. “How comes you can just summon bottles of water? And why are they always close to freezing?”

It took a few attempts for Arkay to sit up. He had kinda sunk into the pillows. “Well, I am a pretty old deity, summoning water isn’t that hard. But also, there’s almost no warmth in a hammer space unless you put one in there. I find it’s perfect for cold drinks.”

“Huh… That’s pretty convenient!” Kayel smiled, then glugged down a lot of his drink. “Still, this was all a ton of fun. I really enjoyed both giving and taking with you.”

“I’m admittedly more amazed I could perform while in a room with people apart from the people I’m fucking…” Arkay muttered. “We went pretty fucking hard.”

Kayel inspected the room. Everyone else was still asleep, but at one point, Elkay had come along and joined in, and he had Teekay and Eksi on top of him. Kaytee and Psiksi were snuggling in the other corner, completely and utterly out of it.

“Honestly, I think most of us were more distracted with Elkay. Surprised you didn’t sleep with him.”

“He was kinda busy being an Elkay sandwich though.”

Kayel snorted at that comment. “A sandwich is such a good way of putting it. Us Skyans do kinda base our sexual terminology on food for some reason.”

“We call our favourite kinks “flavours” and sometimes call condoms “fling-film” similar to cling film. Well, you do. I don’t, really.”

“Hah, doesn’t matter what we call these things, as long as we’re on the same page!” Kayel was very perky now, considering he had just woken up. “Still, this was… amazing. Sure, I’ve had parties like this before, but this was so much fun. Also I got to fuck a death god.”

“Former death god. We’re equals now.”

“Former, yeah. Did you enjoy it?”

Arkay thought for a moment. “Yeah, I did. Was somewhat hoping Psiksi would join us after he was done with Kaytee, but I don’t think any of us had the energy for another threesome.”

Kayel nodded in agreement. “Psiksi is pretty damn hot.”

“He is.”

“You knew him from the last universe, right?”

Arkay nodded. “Yeah. I chose him to replace me after I stopped pretending to be mortal and went back to being a normal death god. He’s a good guy and very attractive. But he also had a boyfriend called Kass. And Kass sadly got rewritten like everyone else.”

Kayel’s eyes widened. “He… he dated a Kass? As in a Kayess-Ksi? Same way I briefly dated Kayess-Ksi?”

“His name was Kayess-En, but, yeah…” Arkay frowned, sighed, then decided to change the subject a little. “But I hope things have worked out. Tall green Psiksi will look after cute little new purple Kass.”

Kayel calmed down, then shrugged. “I did like Kass, thought she was hot, but I think she was way more interested in old green Psiksi anyway.”

Arkay sighed again. “I really hope the universe is fine, with both me and Sini gone.”

“You left it in fairly good hands. And, like, you and Sini left instructions and stuff, AND you scared off the nasty corruption shit forever…” Kayel trailed off briefly. “I… I have a question for you. One of those questions that will probably hurt.”

“What is it?”

“What was it like, being a Corruption? Horrible, I assume?”

Arkay fell completely silent.

“Sorry.”

“It’s fine…” Arkay eventually muttered. “I don’t really remember anything apart from wanting to kill Epanaphovon and wanting to be killed myself. When Sini brought me here, I was only vaguely aware of what was going on, and, by then, I had completely given up and was patiently waiting to be destroyed…” Arkay glanced across the room, to where Elkay was laying. “I still owe Elkay. If it wasn’t for him and Sini, I’d… I’d…”

Noticing that Arkay couldn’t finish his sentence, Kayel wrapped his arms around the old death god, hugging him tightly.

“I’m sorry.”

“It’s fine. I’m here now. With all of you. The agony is fading and I’m finally home.”

Kayel hugged Arkay some more. “You are. Everything is good now.”

Arkay smiled a little. “Multiple miracles happened. But it all turned out alright in the end.”

“Yeah… Anyway, do you want to snuggle some more?”

Arkay’s smile turned into a proper grin. “Oh, definitely…”
