Adventures in the Space Between Universes
Gath had been rather relaxed, looking things up and watching documentaries about kids, but all of a sudden, they had gotten up, rushed to their office and grabbed their large tablet, the one Gath used for video calls. They rushed back downstairs, threw themselves on the sofa, beckoned Relkir over then immediately made a call. … Read more
Litvir rarely got messages to urgently go to their adopted parents home, but the moment they had finished their patrols, Litvir had raced back home, narrowly avoiding a ship and a planet or two as they did so, and… Litvir briefly forgot that both mama Gath and dada Relkir had a different home now. So, … Read more
“Is… is it official?” Doctor Ekal had been Gath’s doctor for a long time. Gath liked Ekal, mostly because Ekal made Gath feel better. Ekal was also a specialist when it came to the treatment of both Defensive Stance and the many issues it caused, and they had kept Gath alive for a long time. … Read more
Relkir was sighing. Relkir was sighing a lot. Despite doing everything the doctors had said, despite everything Relkir had been doing, the pregnancy test had come out negative. Again. And Relkir couldn’t understand why. That being said, Relkir, had some idea what the problem was. Gath, Relkir’s partner, was a troubled being. They’d had a … Read more
“You requested my presence?” Rethais glanced over their shoulder as a familiar face approached, then turned back to the large window they were staring out of. The room was otherwise empty, but there were guards just outside the door, as always. “I did, yes, Relkir. We have not really spoken in a while.” “I have … Read more
“Well, that was fun…” Relkir was panting a lot as they rolled off Gath and laid by their side. Due to their size differences, Relkir and Gath were quite experimental in their play times, but Relkir wasn’t sure if that particular position was worth how exhausted they now were. “Y-yeah…” “Are you alright, dear?” Relkir … Read more
“Well, what now?” Gath and Relkir had both set aside five days to move into their new home. Between finalizing the paperwork, boxing everything up, moving it from their two separate homes to their new, much bigger place, getting the new furniture they needed and unboxing everything and putting everything back together and in the … Read more
Relkir grunted as they were just finishing up a few bits. Everything had been going well, all their work had been dealt with and Relkir was hoping to finish up early so they could help Gath with moving house. “I… do not know why you are inviting me…” Litvir muttered as they arrived outside the building where Relkir currently lived. Then again, “currently” wasn’t quite the correct word, because Relkir spent 99% of their time living in Gath’s apartment across town and only really came back to their own apartment to pick things up … Read more
It was rare that Relkir would be home earlier than Gath, but Gath was spending time with their troops in the 1000th Legion lately, making arrangements so that Gath could take more time off work and so the Legion of Heroes could work without their presence. Today in particular had been set aside so Gath … Read more
“I did not think you were the sort of person who enjoyed glossy Temthan magazines, Relkir!” Relkir regularly got check-ins from the Master of Generals, mostly because Relkir was a non-Below Twenty General working in a Below Twenty building, but also because the Master of Generals was still wary of Relkir. However, occasionally, they would … Read more
It had been a good evening. Rethais has invited both their sibling Relkir and their partner Gath, and Lysar’s sibling Malyr and their partner Jelii to the Grand Mansion, the High General’s home. Everyone knew to move out of the way of the gigantic Rethan who would regularly stomp through the 99th Legion office. Not because the gigantic Rethan was a threat or anything. The opposite in fact. “That was a really nice ceremony!” Kohra mused as he sipped a glass of diet cola. He had wanted normal cola, but apparently full sugar cola was rare in Rethan territories. Sitting with him were the handful of other non-Rethans, namely his brother Levik and Elkay, the former All-Ksa, that had been invited to the … Read more
Everything was clear, and a gentle wind blew through. The audience was sitting patiently, waiting for the two partners-to-be to arrive. And they swiftly did.
