Adventures in the Space Between Universes
“You should not have brought me here…” Relkir had been unable to speak for hours, but that was the first sentence they managed to utter. They had been uneasily waiting at Litvir’s little apartment for someone to come along and take them to see a specialist, while Litvir watched on. Eventually, Elkay had come along … Read more
“Relkir? Is everything alright?” The family home was full of life today. Gath was doing at-home care with baby Retvik, and the schedules of Litvir and Relkir had coincided, meaning they both somehow had the day off at the same time. Because of this, Gath had decided to do a family meal together, and had … Read more
Kohra had had a busy day. Meetings with all sorts of important Spasts, speaking with candidates for recently formed political parties and things like that. It was exhausting. Especially since Kohra had been forced to be rather strict and outright say that some political parties should not be formed. He had seen other races, he … Read more
Ksini remained calm as the silky tendrils slithered in from the darkness and pulled her through a sudden portal. She was still calm as she was then thrown into a bed of silk pillows and soft blankets. But that calmness was briefly shaken as the Lady of All revealed herself. She wasn’t in her normal … Read more
Ksini couldn’t work out what she had done wrong. She had expected this Rethan to act negatively around her, but she didn’t think they would go straight to attacking her at the sight of her hanging over the Rethan’s partner. She was only curious. Still, the second Rethais had stepped into the room, they had … Read more
“WHERE IS MY DADA?” Litvir had tried to remain calm, but they were clearly at breaking point as they bashed on the door to Epani and Ksini’s private sanctum. There was a brief hesitation while the door opened, and Elkay and Aster were both heavily trying to suggest that Litvir not force their way in, … Read more
“Kyr Aesop, are you busy? I… I need some help…” Aesop blinked repeatedly, not just because someone was asking him for help, but because of who specifically was asking him for help. He looked up and noticed that Litvir looked a little dishevelled. “Hey, Litty, what’s wrong?” Aesop asked as he picked himself up off … Read more
This mountain was ancient. So ancient that it had eroded and flattened over the years, into a plateau. Yet somehow, while the top eroded, the three tectonic plates underneath continued to push the mountain up, and it was the highest peak on the planet. Of course, the Thraki had built a temple there. That was … Read more
“Come on, dear!” Relkir grinned as they grabbed Litvir by the hand. “Come on, let us have daddy-daughter time and get ice cream!” Litvir wasn’t expecting Relkir to immediately grab them, so they stopped and stayed in place. Relkir seemed to predict that, then tried again. Litvir relented a little but didn’t move too much. … Read more
“Was it you who requested that name?” Leviks four eyes flicked open as he looked up to see who was talking to him. He had been sitting in silence at the newly opened Monument of Fallen Heroes at the Great Arenas, in front of a particular statue. While the person honoured by the statue was … Read more
“Lady Epani, are you busy right now? Oh… Oh no…” Elkay didn’t really like going to Epani for questions, but there was a question burning in his head right now and Epani was the only person who could answer it. Actually, maybe Ksini could have answered it too but… The god of knowledge skidded to … Read more
Litvir raced up to the top of the universe, as they had been told that a “metal meanie” was sitting on the exit hatch, apparently knocking on it and trying to get in. But as soon as they got into telepathic detection range, Litvir swiftly calmed down and informed Nanik that the Voidborn present wasn’t … Read more
With all the chaos that had gone on recently, Relkir had been struggling. Which was why Relkir was doing something to ground themselves. They were on a walk, playing their silly little game, wandering around the streets near their parents-by-partnership’s home, while Gath was spending time playing with (and taking many photos of) their brand … Read more
Litvir wasn’t supposed to be there. The first two nights, only one person was supposed to be with the baby, and that was their mum. Ever since baby Retvik had hatched, they had been gently held by Gath, and the two of them had been in a small room together. Gath was currently sleeping on … Read more
“You fixed things up pretty quickly.” Aesop yawned, then waved at Aster as he appeared at the entrance to what was planned to be Elkay’s private book club room, but was now just a room full of sofas and tables, all empty. Literally a few rooms over, a deity had died, having thrown several other … Read more
