Kayel tutted as he put on his fancy ceremonial All-Ksa robes. He didn’t want to wear them today. He wanted to go as himself, he wanted to be himself, he didn’t want to have to be all big and lustrous in front of this new species. But that was what his advisors were telling him to do, and frankly, they knew better.
“We are about to land, ser…”
The attractive young K-Class smiled awkwardly at Kayel. Kayel smiled back and was thankful he had a small army of K-Class to deal with all the important stuff, like fights, transport, protection, things like that. Accompanying Kayel today was Enkay, the leader of the K-Class, Veear, the leader of the R-Class Arbiters and Arksi, the Ksa of the Ξ-Class, Kayel’s own son and the head of foreign affairs. The rest of Kayel’s staff consisted of various advisors and guards.
The ship landed gracefully in the centre of the country-sized city. From above, they had assumed that there were separate areas, but on closer inspection, everything was part of a scrawling network of roads, buildings and homes. More interestingly though was the fact that everything, EVERYTHING was embedded in sparkling gems. Not just gems of one colour, beautiful rainbows of brightness, almost illuminating everything.
The city centre was mostly taken up by what was obviously this race’s governmental buildings. These buildings were somehow even fancier than the rest. A large, gleaming staircase led to the main building, and walking down said staircase was a collection of locals, the rulers of this strange realm. They were also surrounded by guards, but none of the K-Class were worried. After all, these beings were all naked.
“I like this place already…” Kayel smiled as everyone began to disembark. Kayel, of course, lead the way, flanked by Arksi, Enkay and Veear, then followed by the K-Class and the advisors. Kayel walked with his arms open wide, showing that he was not a threat. Interestingly, the locals did the same.
“You are the Skyavok, yes?” the tallest of the locals, a tall, glistening ruby being. None of the Skyans were quite sure how to describe these beings. They looked like Temthans, obviously draconic beings, but their scales were covered in gems and rhinestones rather than normal scales. “Us Tragons are so happy to meet new people!”
Kayel nodded. “Yes we are! I am Kayel, All-Ksa of the Skyavok and leader of the L-Class. It is an honour to meet you!”
The Tragons bowed. The ruby-skinned one leaped forward, gently taking Kayel’s hand. “I am Lord Rubedo. We have always wanted to meet other races! We have always wanted to spread our reach, spread our seed!”
Several of the Skyans hesitated. Kayel could hear their telepathic whispers. They were all very uncertain.
“That sounds… interesting!” Kayel remained polite. “We are here to simply introduce ourselves and talk to you.”
“Talk? Is that all?” Lord Rubedo’s tone changed. He stepped back, glancing at his supervisors. He was obviously male, since he was… tackle out. “You do not want gems and sex?”
“We don’t want to rush into things!” Kayel smiled. “It’s good to take things slow.”
Rubedo’s smile immediately bounced back. He yet again grabbed Kayel’s hand and gently tugged, pulling him up the stairs. “Good! Come inside and we will talk!”
