“So, she’s not corrupted?” “No.” “But she thinks she’s corrupted?” “Yeah.” “And because we warp reality around us to match our beliefs because we’re Life Goddesses, she’s acting as if she is corrupted?” “Yes.” “And playing towards those beliefs will allow us to convince her that we can cure her from the non-existent Corruption?” “Hopefully, … Read more
The tiny shuttle pulled into the main hanger of the Shimmering Blade, the Phantai’s main ship and headquarters, parking somewhat awkwardly as far away from the exit as possible. Shuttles coming in and out were pretty common on the Shimmering Blade, as lower level Phantai would head out to do various missions and patrol the … Read more
Sonicshock: Cleanser Kal Wehl-Koh here, representing Spiritpurger, how can I help you today? Sonicshock: Oh hello Arkay! Sonicshock: We’re busier than ever! Mostly Kenic Spore removal right … Read more
“Do you not have a home to go to?” Kuta asked as they glanced up from their desk. “Or at least other mortals to pester?” Arkay tutted as he flicked through the pages of a pink, leather-bound book. “Ohi, o Kronthak halas’ta…” “Um…” “Oh. Sorry, kinda just assumed you spoke Shadowtongue…” Arkay tutted again. “Kairos … Read more
Arkay was in a bit of a bad mood. Not only did he have to deal with the fallout of an exploding star, but Sini had requested that he fetch a specific dagger, and Arkay had returned to his apartment to find that it had been trashed, again, by the Whenvern. Now he was making … Read more
“So, how are you all doing-” Litvir paused mid-sentence, surveying his small team of Decaylings, who were all sitting on the benches in front of him. However, Litvir’s attention was drawn to Elkay, the largest of the Decaylings and the one Decayling that was the same species as Litvir was. “Uh, Elkay, you appear to … Read more
Despite the explosion occurring in Torr territories, the Lanex were the first on the scene. A small Lanex exploration craft had appeared on the very edge of the safe zone, hovering awkwardly in the colossal solar winds, avoiding not just the edge of the explosion but the not-quite-a-Lanex floating around on a pair of inky … Read more
Kuta flicked their cape to one side as they and their new friend entered the Red Maw, a quiet cafe on the edge of Phos, the Rethan capital. “You have returned early. Impossibly early.” Kuta bowed deeply as they entered the grand hall, pausing to watch as the High General’s small army of advisors marched out. Elksia found it weird how silent everyone was as they marched through the Voidborn vessel, slicing through gold and diamond grunts that were desperately trying to kill them. The Voidborn had fired as soon as they’d seen the small Phantai ship, but the Phantai had retaliated by cleanly blowing up the Voidborn ship’s bridge, freezing … Read more
The last place Kuta expected to end up in was a cosy Banikan bar on a planet with slightly too much oxygen on it. When they stepped through the Thantophor’s portal, they knew they would reappear somewhere odd, but this made little sense. It made even less sense as the Banikans all glanced at him, … Read more
“So, like you faced the Ancient Collector and didn’t die, Shattershield?” Akah was beginning to regret his codename. Being a Decayling, he technically wasn’t allowed to pick his own name, it had to be done by a Decay Lord. But the problem was that, when it came to giving him a codename, he was on … Read more
Retvik didn’t want to wake up, he was very comfy, dozing on the sofa with one of Kayel’s hoodies wrapped around his head, and Kayel himself purring, half asleep by Retvik’s side, wearing a bright pink and salon striped hoodie of his own. But something was poking Retvik in the leg and that was bothering … Read more
