Greetings and Kisses

Due to the lack of lips on many Phoviverse species, very few of them actually kiss one another. To show affection, Vrekans knock their pincers together, Banikans bash horns and many other races simply nuzzle one another.  Cassids are known to wrap their necks and tails together, although most social greetings are done in the form of handshakes and hand-holding, even among couples. Thanatians have many different ways of greeting one another, their most common method being that of making a low, humming sound while approaching one another from the side.

Hugging is common among bipedal races and quadruped races alike. Bayvak tend to hug one another with both their arms, their tails and the tendrils that extend from their arms. Hugging is the main way of showing affection to loved ones among the Vohra.

Kissing among Vohra is considered almost exactly the same as sex, due to the fact that their genitalia are located in their mouths.
