Adventures in the Space Between Universes
Arkay Relkir grunted as they were just finishing up a few bits. Everything had been going well, all their work had been dealt with and Relkir was hoping to finish up early so they could help Gath with moving house. All the little bits and pieces had been arranged, the new contract had been signed and … Read more
“So, little ones, any updates?” Dalosisaar glanced across the room. Not all of the Twelve Anew were present today, and those who were, some of them seemed a little annoyed. And, oddly, they were willing to show that annoyance while the Allmaker was present. “I don’t have updates, just questions!” Syksis tutted. “Where the heck … Read more
“So, uh, how are we going to do this?” Arkay asked as he and his trio sat in their office, having been recently teleported to Deathven’s private sanctum and teleported home again with a new mission. “Because I don’t know these guys that well.” “I do not know…” Retvik grunted. “We cannot be too obvious. … Read more
“Hello again, Missing.” Today, Deathbringer seemed to be wearing clothes, but Souldrainer and Flamebearer seemed to be rather bare. Flamebearer in particular didn’t have his normal flames. That was unusual. “Hello, Overlord…” Deathbringer tutted. Their normal, vaguely annoyed attitude. “What stupid mission do you want us to go on this time?” “I shall explain in … Read more
“Hello? Aesop? You wanted to talk to me?” Litvir seemed rather uneasy when they received Aesop’s message to meet him at… well, Litvir wasn’t sure. They thought it was a cinema, but it was more like a dark room with very large screen and a bunch of sofas, with snacks everywhere. And while Aesop had … Read more
“I… do not know why you are inviting me…” Litvir muttered as they arrived outside the building where Relkir currently lived. Then again, “currently” wasn’t quite the correct word, because Relkir spent 99% of their time living in Gath’s apartment across town and only really came back to their own apartment to pick things up … Read more
Soulstorm: Uh, Litvir, are you busy? Souldrainer: Oh, hello! You do not normally message me here. Soulstorm: I’m an outcast Beh’en that fucked up running a sect, of course I’m not going to message people. Soulstorm: I got a problem though and I need to talk to you privately and you have private messages turned … Read more
It was rare that Relkir would be home earlier than Gath, but Gath was spending time with their troops in the 1000th Legion lately, making arrangements so that Gath could take more time off work and so the Legion of Heroes could work without their presence. Today in particular had been set aside so Gath … Read more
“What is your problem, Kairos?” Kairos had requested to be left alone. He had locked himself inside his crystal palace at the north eastern corner of the universe after a disagreement with one of the lesser deities. But Epani was clearly ignoring that request and had bluntly let herself in. She was also currently larger … Read more
“Phovoula, I need to have a word with you.” Theocydes was a regular Voidborn visitor to Savepoint. He never needed purifying though, he often just stopped by to check on things. But Savepoint also used to be within Theocydes’s territories, and he had relinquished his claims on the area so that Phovoula, who was both … Read more
“So you want me to IGNORE a time anomaly?” It had taken the Twelve Anew a little too long to get the courage to have this meeting with both Epani and Kairos. Kairos had been aggressive for a while, and he clearly still was today, growling at the demands that the younger deities were asking … Read more
“Ugh, what now?” There was a very large cloaked figure floating above Savepoint. Arkay was rather unamused by this, because it was interrupting his free time, yet again. He was supposed to be finishing his shift, having a shower then going to his room to snuggle with one of his partners, but no, there was … Read more
“Hey, Arkay, you busy right now?” Arkay was just about to relieve Tanos and Ret from guard duty when a friendly voice rushed up to him, appearing through a shimmering portal. Phovos had admittedly been rather lazy lately, and since she had worked out her Life Goddess type and had perfected moving around via portals, … Read more
“You got any idea?” “No, none at all.” “Yeah, me neither.” Arkay was supposed to be resting, it was supposed to be his time off, but he needed help with something. Or, rather, an old friend needed help with something. Arkay still had contact with the universe that had kept him prisoner for two billion … Read more
Kayel was sitting on the beach on his own again. He didn’t have much on his mind, he was just relaxing and having some quiet time. But he was unaware that he was partially being watched. On patrolling guard duty right now was Arkay, the deity Kayel once worshiped when he was in the Phantasma … Read more
