Adventures in the Space Between Universes
Things were quiet on the Deathly Soulflame. Currently, Retvik, Litvir and Arkay were just flying through empty voidspace, on their way to a meetup spot with another Hidden Trio. Apparently, the plan was to help this other Hidden Trio with some Corruption purging, but they admittedly didn’t really know who they were meeting with, apart … Read more
“I won’t lie, that was too easy.” Arkay and Retvik looked out of the window in the cockpit as the two other ships disappeared into the darkness. Litvir would have joined them, but he was busy in the kitchen, having a rather unusual urge to make food before they headed elsewhere. “What was too easy?” … Read more
“So, when did you discover this place and how long have you both been working on this sector?” Litvir asked as everyone settled down a bit. Introductions had been slightly bumpy, and as both sides had described their problem, it had been a bit tricky to keep things calm, but as Retvik walked through the … Read more
“This has to be the place…” Arkay muttered as the Deathly Soulflame slowed down, approaching a large, golden platform with two other ships on it. The only thing lighting the place up were strips of gold lights on the edge of the platform. Luckily, the platform was huge, and Arkay had no problem landing on … Read more
“So, are we ready now?” Retvik asked as he and Litvir strapped themselves in. Arkay was sitting in front of them, both peering out of the main viewing pane but also glancing at all the buttons in front of him. “Are you done hugging everyone, Arkay?” Litvir also asked. “I am pretty sure you hugged … Read more
“Well, he certainly delivered on that…” A new ship had suddenly appeared in the parking area of Savepoint. It was about the same size as the Thantir Three, but much more sleek and rounded. It was a very pretty ship that had been painted black and had silver flames running down each side, and the … Read more
“So, we’ve come to a decision.” Arkay wasn’t quite sure how he’d managed it, but he’d somehow managed to teleport Retvik, Litvir and himself into that familiar candlelit room that Overlord Deathven always used to meet with his Hidden Trios. Thankfully, there was no one else around apart from the Overlord and the three Missing, … Read more
Arkay was clearly rather stressed out currently, despite the fact that he had been planning all of this for a long time. Set up on the little floating platform to one side were various tiny drinks and treats, and the platform itself was on the beach of Savepoint’s strange lake, ready for its two passengers. … Read more
“So you’re… leaving?” Levik stuttered a little. “You’re going somewhere else?” Psiksi nodded as everyone sat down at the table in a quiet Temthan restaurant. With Psiksi and Levik were Timik, Abius and Kass. Admittedly, everything was too small for Abius, but they seemed content to just sit on a spare stool rather than a … Read more
Arkay was confused more than anything else. He, Retvik and Litvir had met the Overlord in person, despite the Overlord hating Arkay in a rather one-sided way, and now suddenly they were discussing what the Overlord had said alongside the superior members of the Thantir. The Tattered Navigators were of course present, but they had … Read more
“Hm, not what I expected.” There was a vast, smoke-ridden being standing in the middle of Savepoint. It had a horrible aura about it. Not aggressive, just overall scary and stern. It took the Thantir a moment to actually work out what was going on. Some of them were busy doing purifications for a Life … Read more
Psiksi wasn’t doing particularly well. Tromos had heard him coming a mile away as he coughed and spluttered his way down the main corridor to Tromos’s office. To Tromos’s surprise though, Psiksi wasn’t alone. He was being followed by Kayess-Ksi, who kept on trying to hand Psiksi some water. Tromos wasn’t sure why, because the … Read more
“Good morning, Litvir. Please, sit down.” Litvir had been somewhat anxious about this meeting for at least a week. After some vacation time, mostly spent with their adoptive parents, Litvir was now ready to be inducted into a Legion. However, unlike most freshly graduated young Rethans, Litvir’s choice of what Legion to join had mostly … Read more
“Hey, Elkay, thanks for coming and speaking to me.” Elkay sat down on the ledge, next to Arkay. They were both sitting on the very edge of Savepoint. Behind them was the Thantir’s headquarters, ahead of them was endless darkness with occasional pink clouds. “No worries, old friend. How can I help you?” Arkay frowned. … Read more
Relkir sighed to themselves as they stared at the package on their desk. Outside Relkir’s office, the 99th Legion had all just been given their first set of uniform armour, and the boxes at the back of the room contained enough armour for each member of the Legion for a week. Relkir had watched them … Read more
