Arkay “Hi.” “Hiya!” Arkay wasn’t sure what to write. He hadn’t expected his new best friend to reply so quickly, and had intended to use the five minute pause to think of something to say. It wasn’t so much that Arkay had nothing to talk about. He had lots on his mind. He just didn’t know … Read more
“Everything has been checked?” “Yes.” “Double checked?” “Yes.” “Triple checked?” “Yes.” “… Quadruple checked?” “Yeah.” “… Quintuple checked?” “Uh… not everything. But most of it has been quintuple checked.” Galyn shrugged, crossing his arms as he looked up from a large pile of sheets of paper. “Eh, good enough. Normally only go to quadruple checks … Read more
Litvir watched as Arkay sneaked out of his room, tiptoed down the hallway and slip into the kitchen. After a minute of sandwich construction and three minutes of grilling action, Arkay reappeared holding a few too many cheese toasties. He immediately started sneaking back to his room, at which point Litvir decided to ask him … Read more
“Oh piss, sorry!” Relkai blinked as he looked up. His shopping had gone pretty much everywhere because he hadn’t been looking where he was going. “Hey, congrats on becoming a Decay Lord finally!” Arkay read the message a couple of times, before deciding that the message probably wasn’t meant for him. “Let me get this straight. We have zero candidates who wish to run for High General?” The circle of Rethans all nodded. Arkay groaned as he collapsed in the captain’s seat in the cockpit, staring out the window. “Hai!” The tiny voice caught Rethais off guard. He had been… examining the scene ahead of him, not sure what to make of it. “I just finished fixing tha-” Retvik was unable to finish his sentence as he was rudely thrown against the outside wall of the Thantir Two. The flood of shouts and panic had very abruptly disappeared, replaced with a stunned, eery silence that almost made no sense.
