Arkay “You’re in a hurry to leave. Can you wait a moment?” Out of all the beings Arkay thought would try and stop him, he didn’t think they’d send Yisini. The Allbirther had an awfully sad aura around her, a stark contrast to the golden blood and anger on Arkay’s hands. “I’m done with all of … Read more
The catacombs of Thre-Vretania were vast, empty, and normally rather calm. In the distant past, these water-ridden caves had been sanctuary to early Rethavok. The darkness had been used as cover not just to spawn, but also as a source of protection and safety from other races. In modern times though, the catacombs had been … Read more
“What ya doing?” “Rethanius, I told you to leave me alo-” Letharus blinked, then rubbed his eyes, gazing over the small, toothy creature sitting beneath him. “Oh. Kallus. The Void Lord let you off your chains?” Kallus grinned slyly, nuzzling his way between Letharus’s work and Letharus himself. He was completely in the way and … Read more
“Tahnahos, you shouldn’t be snooping around down here!” Phovos protested as the little Kronospast tugged at her arm. “We are supposed to be on duty, protecting Kinisis!” Tahnahos paid no heed to his fellow Guardian’s concerns. Instead, he continued dragging Phovos deeper into the golden palace, down several stairwells, past a myriad of Rethan guards … Read more
“Arkay, are you alright? You have been sitting up on the roof for hours.” Arkay glanced behind him to see who was speaking. He hadn’t really been paying attention, all he’d heard was a couple of muttered words, his mind occupied elsewhere. The Thantir Two had stopped at the tiniest of tiny interstellar pit stops, … Read more
The plan had been to head straight to the fancy villa that Kairos and Kenon had set up. But as soon as Epani had heard that Kinisis arrived, she INSISTED on inviting the Allmaker on a tour of her new universe. A cute little floating sleigh had been summoned, with Epani sitting at the front, … Read more
Orthon clapped his hands with glee as his soldiers finished the last few decorative touches on the massive hall. Everything had been delicately decorated with a vast array of beautiful golden ornaments, freshly re-planted fir trees, meters upon meters of sparkly lights and more tinsel than was probably necessary. It was all probably a bit … Read more
Kinisis clapped her hands together with glee as she and her loyal guardians stepped out of her ship and onto the crystal landing pad. Standing to one side, waiting to greet them, was Kairos, the Whenvern and Dragon God of Time. “Oooh! You redecorated!” Kinisis beamed, giving Kairos a quick hug. “Completely renovated, actually…” Kairos … Read more
Rethais had planned to just head home after yet another tedious day of pointless work. But as he closed the door to his office, he noticed someone sitting outside. Litvir stared at the ceiling, absent-mindedly trying to sift through the vast amount of thoughts rushing through his head. He was lying in a large, luxurious bed, covered in soft, velvet pillows, completely nude aside from his natural plating and a thin, silky wrap covering his waist, the only thing keeping him vaguely decent. This … Read more
“What are you doing up there?” Letharus rolled his eyes as he moved away from the console and the sheets of jet black paper. Scrawled on them were long strings of numbers, as well as code words, noting down what he had seen on the various scanners. “My job, Rethanius!” Letharus snarled, answering without speaking. … Read more
“Oh! Hello, little mortal! What brings you to my domain?” Rethais glanced over his shoulder and pointed at a wooden door which didn’t seem to be attached to anything. Veeksiar tutted as he weaved through the lines of soldiers, making his way to the grand office of the High General. “Hi Ser!” Trismit bounced as he let himself in. “You are home early! Normally you do not get in until late!” Rethais looked up from his tablet, smiling slightly. “You do know you do not need to call me ser, right? Any parental name is acceptable.” Trismit shrugged, dumping his bag by the cape rack, … Read more
Galyn originally didn’t want to interrupt, but he had been watching Arkay work for a while now, and he was pretty sure that the little Decayling was in need of a break. Arkay had been cautiously and repeatedly measuring various distances and making all sorts of calculations, yet he didn’t seem to be making much … Read more
