Adventures in the Space Between Universes
Arkay The Panelix circled the heavens, soaring over stars and fields of asteroids, before finally settling down on a somewhat plain, rocky planet. From the surface, it looked barren and hostile. Underground, it was a small paradise, filled with thriving Vohran nests that had created a small utopia for themselves. This world was Vohranic 9, the … Read more
The Goddess of Life grinned with relish as she read through Kenon’s letter to her. None of it was surprising to her. She had always expected her other half, her polar opposite, to one day turn on them all. In fact, Yisini had been preparing for such an event. “Is everything well, my lady?” A … Read more
Kairos tutted as he rummaged through the massive pile of mail that had been shoved through the castle letterbox. He always received a lot of letters and notes, but today, after a massive earthquake on one of those fanatic Kronospast planets, he had been overrun with letters begging for miracles, forgiveness and other godly things. … Read more
My dearest, most beloved child, I am writing this message to you as we are in great peril. Horrible events are afoot. It had been a long time since Arkadin stepped foot in this strange place. The centre of the universe, the home of Kinisis, the Allmaker Herself. “I didn’t think I’d be seeing you all again so soon…” Timik stared at the little Skyavok in front of him. The Skyavok stared at a plate of toast and slices of smoked ham in front of Timik. He didn’t reply to Timik’s words though. The two of them were sitting on a sofa in … Read more
Timik was having a bad day. He was supposed to have gone home, put on his nice armour and then gone out for a morning piss-up at his favourite bar, score some chicks, get laid and then spend the afternoon in the back garden, lying in his inflatable jacuzzi with whoever had decided to stick … Read more
There was a weird knocking sound. It was bothering Kayen. Disturbing his sleep. Reminding him of where he was. He rolled over, trying to turn away from the sounds. Kayen sat in the corner, tears streaming from his eyes. Nothing made any sense. At some point while he’d been sleeping, he’d been taken from a hospital and chucked inside a cold, damp cell. Why?
