Arkay “Welcome, Missing! Welcome to my home, the Temple of the Eternal Healing Flame! And Letalis, thank you for bringing the Missing here.” Letalis muttered to himself as he led Arkay, Litvir and Retvik up the large number of stairs to the entrance. Litvir and Retvik also muttered to themselves. “Why are there so many damn … Read more
The coordinates Litvir had been given had led the Missing to what looked like a scrap metal dump. Or maybe a waste disposal site. No one was really sure. But Letalis had requested that only Litvir and Retvik enter the area proper, and that Arkay remain on the ship, so he could fly them away … Read more
The Deathly Soulflame gently came to a halt as it finished travelling through the portal from the Justarian Circle Northern Transport Point to… wherever here was. “Woah…” Retvik and Litvir were in awe, not really sure what to say. Arkay didn’t say anything either, but that was because he was busy moving the ship out … Read more
“Ugh, these dreams are beginning to annoy me.” Litvir wrapped his arms around Arkay, who had once again woken up in a shock from a nightmare. “Beginning to annoy you?” “Well, they are far more realistic than normal.” “Was that one of those “you jumped through the hole in the universe alternate timeline” dreams or … Read more
Kohra had had a busy day. Meetings with all sorts of important Spasts, speaking with candidates for recently formed political parties and things like that. It was exhausting. Especially since Kohra had been forced to be rather strict and outright say that some political parties should not be formed. He had seen other races, he … Read more
Veeyel slammed the door shut. He slammed it very hard. He slammed it so hard that the door came off its hinges. Considering the door was a heavy metal door, designed for the many, much larger Teliavok that lived in this sector, the feat of slamming the door so hard that it fell off its … Read more
He was supposed to be dead. The God of Vengeance had fallen to the Crazed Lord of Time. And the deranged Time Drake had simply toyed with the young deity, forcing him to constantly relive the moment when he couldn’t save his family. After the 350th re-enactment though, when the Lord of Time had realised … Read more
The sand was pink, the grass was lilac and the sky was nonsensical, full of stars and nebulae. A rather standard day in Kinigi, the borders of existence, with the entire universe above it. But by Arkay’s feet was a hole. Not a particularly large hole, but one with a slight slope to its edges. … Read more
“Oh! Shiny!” Helkas inspected the thing he had just been given. “Do we all get one of these?” Teekay nodded. “We try to make sure that you’re not all like Litvir and put up with all sorts of stupidly old shit and refuse to upgrade. But also, speaking of Litvir, he, Retvik and Arkay just … Read more
Helkas was getting better at working out who was approaching, from the sound of their footsteps, the crunch of the sand and pebbles under their feet. But for some reason, Elkay was always hard to judge. It was as if his footsteps were always slightly different, or maybe he was even disguising his footsteps. Helkas … Read more
“Status report, please, my Missing.” Arkay sighed, trying to organise his words. The three of them had spent hours combing the remains of the base of the Orangegold, only to find everything flooded and destroyed and no one alive. And now Deathven had teleported them here, to his hidden domain, wanting updates. “Torkalion just wanted … Read more
The floor was wet and damp but not sticky. The air had a salty, stale odour to it. But the path just kept on going, on and on and on. In a straight line, disappearing into the gloom. The entire time they walked, Retvik, Litvir and Arkay expected something to happen, something to leap out … Read more
“I feel like we missed something…” Litvir muttered as he stared at the colossal heavy metal doors behind him. There was no immediate answer. Retvik was busy ripping off his diving gear, throwing himself on the floor and breathing heavily. Arkay though was busy staring at Litvir. “What do you mean by that?” Arkay almost … Read more
Kayel rubbed his head as he picked himself up off the floor. The floor was weird and rocky. Some sort of asteroid. Why was Kayel on an asteroid again? He wasn’t sure. But as he heard movement all around him, he quickly realised he wasn’t alone. Instinct made him grab his trusty dagger, but as … Read more
“Sir, you wanted to speak to me?” Silverbolt felt very small as he entered the frigid office. It was a very large office that was full of ice and snow, with icicles hanging from the ceilings and gusts of powdered snow blowing around. This frozen hellscape was the head office of Permafrost, one of the … Read more
