Arkay “I should have visited more…” “You were busy, ser.” Elkay marched down the rows of small tents and camp sites. By his side was Captain Vallas, one of the two captains of the 471st Legion. The legion was currently out on a large training exercise, camping in a large field north of the tattered parts … Read more

Rethais sat at the back of the bar, waiting patiently. There was no one else around apart from the barkeeper. His small team of Ksa and bodyguards were all outside, keeping everyone else away. Apart from one person. One person who had just been allowed in. “I apologise for being late, my friend.” Friend. That … Read more
Thanatos always considered himself to be a tall, powerful and all-round large Thanatian, but even he was dwarfed by the size of the Banikan king he was secretly meeting. This Banikan, Lek’Ril of the united Water Tribes, was so huge, Thanatos did not understand how he was capable of standing. Five and a half metres … Read more
“So let me get this straight,” Tenuk growled as he stomped across the room. “You gave up your own soul to die in a short amount of time and serve Death for eternity, in exchange for a bunch of people you didn’t even know and a guy who is immortal?” Arkay blinked, unsure how to … Read more
“That’s a fuckton of cookies…” Gath watched as the six tiny Rethans ran around the kitchen, all neatly organized in their pursuit to bake lots of cookies. He had no idea why the hell they were baking cookies, but it amused the giant Ethran-type, seeing them acting all busy. “It’s actually only about a hundred … Read more
“You finally decided to accept my invitation,” Photeianos smiled, a crooked, mean-spirited smile he normally saved for enemies. Elkay and Rethais had both seen this smile before, but this was the first time they were the enemies, not someone else. “We have been very busy, Photianos,” Elkay tutted. “What do you want? We have work … Read more
“Please, let me in!” Thitavee-En bashed on the tattered, wooden door. He considered tearing it off its hinges and forcing his way in, but as he was about to do so, the door swing upon. There was an awkwardly large amount of disdain in the room, mostly coming from the body of Rethans standing in the centre of it. They had lots of questions and they wanted answers. Hence why they were all waiting for Elkay to walk in and start talking. Finally, the candidate for High General entered the … Read more
They weren’t breathing. Lying on the ground, slumped over, the light flittering and fading from their eyes. Were they dead or frozen in time? There was no way to tell. Arkay feared that it was the former. He’d put them all in the standard recovery position. He’d held their wrists, checking for a pulse. He’d … Read more
Psiksi sat on the edge of the little tree house, unsure what to do with himself. He was supposed to be visiting local Rethan villages and trying to convince them that they should register to vote (and potentially get them to vote for his brother) but Psiksi just couldn’t be bothered. He’d only managed to … Read more
The Rethan ship landed cautiously on the tarmac, and uneasily opened up, revealing its nervous passengers. The ten passengers carefully left the ship, and immediately headed to the specially prepared room, which was also filled with other, even more cautious Rethans. Everywhere else had been carefully sealed off from public access. “Rethais, Lepidas, Emthion, it … Read more
“WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?” Kayelar sat in his chair, arms and legs firmly crossed in a vague attempt to protect himself and not look scared at the same time. “Wow…” Elkay shrugged his shoulders, shifting his armour, as he gazed upon the cheering crowds all around him. His armour, designed to both protect him and conceal his identity, was hindering his view quite a bit, he hadn’t really noticed until now just how many beings were watching. By his feet was Elefthras, his defeated … Read more
Kayelar was not normally used to crowds this big. Heck, he wasn’t really used to crowds at all. The only crowds he ever saw were from the windows of the Maza buildings in Portalia and Kolasi, and even then, those crowds were normally protesting something from some other race. Just the other day, they were … Read more
