Arkay Ever since the meeting with Kinisis, where everyone had managed to get a few questions answered, things had mostly calmed down. More than that, everyone had very quickly warmed up to each other, no longer that bothered about them all being different. The differences were only on the surface, and everyone was being friendlier than … Read more
“Good day, Flamebearer.” It was a rare feeling for Retvik to seem so small and insignificant. The chair and desk he was sitting at were perfectly normal in size. The desk and chair in front of him were insanely huge. To fit a being that was at least triple Retvik’s size. “Uh… good day, ser…” … Read more
“Hey, baby, you alright?” Retvik sat up, rubbing his eyes, trying to work out where he was and who was talking to him. It took him far too long to realise that he was safe in his own bed, with his new friend lying next to him. “Seimeni…” Retvik muttered under his breath. “Sorry, did … Read more
The twelve beings all sat in a circle, wondering what was going on. Kinisis had said she wanted to talk, and there they were, waiting for her. “Hai!” Estee seemed not at all bothered that the High General of the Rethavok was standing in front of her, blocking the light from her work. Sure, her world had been turned upside down and destroyed, pretty much literally, but she had so much more time to work on her art now. “Hello there, little … Read more
Lysar tutted as she flicked through a glossy magazine. She never really understood who read these rather unsavoury tabloids, normally written by gossiping Skyavok or Cassian Temthans, but there were always tons of them in waiting rooms across Rethan territories. This waiting room was particularly quiet, but that was because it was late in the … Read more
“Alright, so let me get this straight. You want to create a pan-universal union of mortal races, where every race has their own specific job and duty?” Kenon nodded, perched on his throne, going through a series of notes. In the last few days, the Rethavok leadership had been visited by a myriad of races, … Read more
“Happy Decay Day!” Retvik rubbed his eyes as he tried to focus on the beings on the end of his bed. He’d been asleep, but had no real idea how long he’d been asleep for. At least two of the beings were somewhat familiar? “Uh, whut?” “Happy Decay Day!” Seimeni repeated, jumping over to the … Read more
“I wasn’t prepared for this…” Kayel, the All-Ksa of the Skyavok, was shaking, trying to keep himself upright, trying to focus on his words. But as he stood in front of the High General of the Rethavok, Kayel couldn’t make the right words come out. Broken, crippled words squeaked from his maw. “I was prepared … Read more

“Play that again for me, please.” Teekay did as he was told, scrolling back through the recording and hitting the play button so his queen could view the audio again. Retvik sighed as he sat on the small, metal bench, staring off into the void. There was nothing out there, apart from the occasional glimmer, and a glowing spot in the distance. He wasn’t focused on anything, he was just blindly looking outwards, trying to clear his thoughts and work out what was going on. … Read more
Retvik grunted as he rolled over, not really wanting to wake up. For the first time in ages, he was genuinely feeling comfortable and well rested. “WHAT HAPPENED?” Rethais demanded as Kenon entered the Grand Palace. With a grunt, Kenon pushed open the door, grunting as it flew back in … Read more
Kairos sighed as he brushed dust and rubble off himself. Underneath him were the battered bodies of many a demi-god he had summoned to assist him.
